Dog Cooling
Spot isn’t panting because drooling is his favorite hobby. Nope, he’s panting because he’s trying to keep cool.
There are plenty of dog cooling supplies available to keep dogs cool. Dog bandanas contain cooling crystals that remain effective for hours after being soaked in water. Dog cooling beds and dog cooling mats, with similar cooling properties, are there to keep your dog cool.
Dog cooling vests are also a good way to keep Spot’s temperature down on a hot summer day. Give Spot a break, keep your dog cool. After all, he was there for you when you needed a friend, wanted to throw the Frisbee, or needed a wingman to help you find a date. Throw Spot a bone and at least give him a dog cooling vest. |
Warning: Heat stroke can begin when a dog’s body temperature reaches 105°F or higher, which is just 3 to 4 degrees hotter than a dog’s normal body temperature. It doesn’t take long for man’s best friend to overheat.
