A 70% modacrylic/30% viscose blend is inherently flame resistant. It also has the unique ability to keep the body from becoming too hot or too cold. FR Control utilizes Thermocules®, phase change microcapsules which have the ability to store heat. In warm conditions heat is absorbed into the Thermocules. When the body cools, the stored energy is released back to the body, providing warmth. The result is comfort in both cool and warm environments.
