32 permanent antispark titanium cleats provide excellent traction on ice and snow, but ErgoMate ICE Cleats also provide antifatigue protection. The cleats are mounted into a PVC packet and then embedded into an EVA antifatigue foam core. This allows the cleats to slightly compress into the foam core on hard surfaces, but grip slightly softer surfaces like snow and ice.

An ingenious design allows for 32 titanium cleats to retract into access holes on a PVC outer sole when walking on hard, nonslick surfaces. Full cleat activation happens when there’s a sudden change in weight transfer, which occurs when the wearer slips.
